Vegans insist on vegan friendly 5 pound notes

In light of the recent demonetization and talk of the new 2000 rupee notes losing colour, it appears that currency is the world’s new favourite topic. Here we have a scenario not unlike that which triggered the Sepoy Mutiny of 1857. While back then it was religion against animal fat in bullet cartridges, now it’s vegans against animal fat in Britain’s new five Euro note.
